Jessie released her debut single! "Song for Janet" is a dedication to her violin teacher of a decade, Janet Bond Sutter. This track is an anthem to the power of music educators, the non-linear experience of grief, and a nod to Anaïs Mitchell's "Road to Hell II" of Hadestown. Listen here!
Jessie plays fiddle & adds harmony in a folk-rock band, led by her friend and fellow artist, Grace Leckey. The band frequently plays venues in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. Click here to listen!
Jessie joined the Blue Balloon Songwriting School teaching artists, where she teaches piano, violin, voice, and ukulele lessons to students in the NYC area. Blue Balloon focusses on instrumental instruction through songwriting and exploring inner creativity.
Jessie joined the Inside Broadway team as a teaching artist, where she teaches theatre and music sessions to students in NYC public schools. She feels inspired and energized by the young performers she has the opportunity to work with! Meet the Teaching Artists
During her time at Indiana University, Jessie had the opportunity to be a part of the NOTUS Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, directed by Dominick DiOrio. This ensemble was one of her most formative and cherished experiences while at the Jacobs School of Music. NOTUS released an album, listen here!
